We are The World!!!

Hey guys,
Good morning everyone! Am sure we all are now at work now. May today be fruitful for us all!
Now the title: 'We are the world' reminds all of us of that phenomenal song that star musicians of the past sang but this has nothing to do with the song .
We are the World means 'awa Aiye' in our Yoruba indigenous language.
Most Nigerian Christians have become very aggressive prayer warriors, we have interpreted that bible verse the 'we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers'. Everything has become spiritual warfare for us and who can blame us....I want to load us with some prayer points this morning...May our lives not end as Lowo and Yewande's In Jesus name, Amen!
Now, we have all read and heard all sorts about the two couples, how Lowo was butchered by his devilish wife and ended up 6 feet under.
Today, I bring you a bit of the inside story. The
husband's family side of the story has littered the
Internet since that gloomy morning.
May no Evil befall us ijmn. I actually know Yewande but from afar, she was my shoe customer way back so when I
recognized her from the pictures uploaded on the Internet, I was taken aback so I was determined to investigate the matter thoroughly. I began calling all the people I knew that also are her
Colleagues and friends of her families. I had not heard her own side of the story so I was very curious.
Now let me first give some details about the personality of lowo and Yewande. Lowo and Yewande are both graduates
of OAU, so they're both educated and they know the implications and consequences of being violent. They were married for almost 3 years. Lowo was his family's breadwinner and Yewande is from a comfortable family. She both had good jobs, she is a lawyer, state prosecutor with masters from a university in SA. Lowo lived and worked in France. Barely a year after their marriage, he impregnated an Edo woman in France that bore him a Son. When the gist came out, he informed and confirmed it to Yewande's dad officially. Yewande was called for a family meeting and she
agreed praying that God shall give her a child too. Yewande
suffered from fibroid but Lowo was away most times so it was more difficult to consumate and have a child of her own. Now this Edo girl was no lady at all. Just like any side chic or crazy baby mama trying to unsit the barren wife she was fond of harassing Yewande and her father with calls and sms, I don't need to tell you the contents of her messages am sure we can all just imagine...Yewande according to her close friends used to use his leftover fabric to make his 10 months old baby same design as lowo's. They had just purchased a land
together and had gone to pray on this land together a few
days before this fight. Lowo used to drive her car anytime he was around in Nigeria so pardon me if I find this killing too overwhelming to understand. According to his family, she kept Lowo away from them and yet....his brothers wife knew she wasn't cooking for him, knew she had fibroid, knew her next surgery appointment, to me that's already too much info.....i understand why they must feel sad, his life was cut short, he was their breadwinner and I know how people can be when they want justice for a dead relative. According to
Lowo's Sister in law, they encouraged him to keep the baby
from his side chic, I wonder at this woman's position tho seeing as she's also an in-law. Gave this Edo lady the numbers of Yewande and her dad 's. They must have been so used to his undiluted friendship as a Bachelor that they just couldn't fathom why he was suddenly no more as available even though I find this to be embellished due to the phone conversation she had with a journalist which contradicted her complaints. This same woman has practically been seen harassing any lawyer in sight seen to visit Yewande at Agodi prisons, she must understand that her friends are all also in shock and wants to know her own side of the story. It's not every day that a woman just stabs her sleeping husband twice same day.
Yewande on the other hand is just used to planning for the future, she has no 'bukata' from her own family. So she wanted them to just tie down their capital or monies in investments even though I wonder at this rationale seeing as he couldn't even wait long to defile the marital bed and also bring his seed into the picture. Domestic violence is often a hard pill to swallow for the average Yoruba in-law regardless of the perpetrator.
Yewande Worked in the State Ministry of Justice as a state prosecutor is aware of the consequences for any criminal offense how she could've intentionally killed(hearsay) still beats me and if it was also in self defense, I wonder why she didn't run to escape before things got really bad.
As a State prosecutor, she was assigned many complicated cases and she's made loads of enemies along the way. Lowo's family may also indirectly have created another Enemy in the person of the Edo lady 'the side chic' who just wanted a hostile takeover. Her father was a retired
Permanent Secretary, An Anglican Venerable and her mother a retired Accountant General...am sure they made enemies
of their own.

The arrows could've come from anywhere really; work or side chic or from haters of or from her families. Cos I just can't stop wondering why lowo would be stabbed and Yewande would rush him to the hospital and then taken back home, be offered a safe room by their landlord which he refused. The landlord who by the way gave two contradicting Statements at two police stations...smh! Anyways, only for him to be
stabbed a second time???? Did y'all see the picture lowo
posted after he was
first stabbed with a scissors,he practically posed with his neck chain and blood stained boxers???
According to his family, She stabbed him because she was angry he cheated and fathered an illegitimate child, She wanted to inherit their land and she was angry he was going to see his son in France. Yewande is accused of being the sole perpetrator, the violent devilish controlling, aggressive wife
According to her colleagues, she is well loved, very
responsible, understanding, humble, brilliant and respected. She shared all she had, she was hurt her new husband
betrayed her but she took the news with grace.
Lowo was known as the violent spouse, not her...(hearsay)
When the news came out on lindaikeji's blog, she implied
that Lowo had hit Yewande with a plank and that had led to the final stab that ended his life. Comments had flowed in that she was biased and that had been a lie blahblah. What comes to mind is aren't there other ways to end someone's life without leaving such huge evidences seeing as she's a lawyer??? What was she thinking when she used the knife???
How powerful did she imagine she was over a full grown man such as lowo??? I heard when she got to Agodi the warders were asking who had beaten her and were ready to go and avenge her before they heard of the incident. Her closest colleague even fell on the ground and almost fainted when she heard. His family have threatened to 'ro oku' meaning they'd incite the ghost to go punish his killer in the spiritual relm. I can only pray to God to comfort both families. My opinion is that this is a proper 'ise esu' and 'Aedi'
I won't take any position on who did what but let me assure us all that his families version of what had happened is not entirely the true representation of what had transpired, same as other versions flying around. No one was there, not one single witness! So let's not be quick to judge instead let us pray that we don't fall prey to the devices of the Evil one.
As far as I can tell....both Lowo(rip) and Yewande are victims. May we all abide under the shadow of the Almighty God.
Living in an abusive marriage is living a life that's not your own, be wise! Your best is yet to come. Enjoy the rest of your day Guys. Thanks for reading this super lengthy post.

    1. It is rather unfortunate, very sad! Two promising lives, one six feet under the other remanded in Prison and facing murder charges. No excuse for domestic violence!
